Join our February adult reading contest: "For Love of a Good Book."

Come in by Feb. 28 and write about your favorite romantic character in literature in 50 words or less and tell us your favorite quote. The winner will be chosen by the library staff and there will be a mystery prize.

Great news for all of our homeschooling families – local author Agnes Penny has donated a copy of her latest book to the library. "Your School of Love: A Spiritual Companion for Homeschooling Mothers" is a wonderful resource and covers the struggles of homeschooling as well as "how to embrace the great joys."

Stop in today to check it out.

We would like to invite local authors to stop by the library and help us plan a program. We can do a reading from your books or a book signing. It would be a great way to inform the community.

Story Time with Miss Jo will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, and Thursdays, Feb. 5 and 12.

No preregistration is necessary and all ages are welcome! Call the library at 610-262-7351 with any questions.

Trivia Saturday will be Feb. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. Stop in and play a rousing game of Trivial Pursuit, or you can simply make up your own questions as we go along. All ages welcome.

We are accepting donations for our April 10-11 book and bake sale. All donations are tax deductible. Sorry, we no longer take VHS tapes, encyclopedias or textbooks. Anyone wishing to donate baked goods should contact the library.
