Vehicle tires deflated

Coplay police were called Jan. 19 to the unit block of South Second Street to investigate a report of deflated vehicle tires.

A resident told patrol officers someone cut the four tires on his work truck.

The truck was parked in front of his garage, the resident said.

Alarm set off

An alarm summoned police Jan. 23 to the unit block of Magna Drive in Echo Manor.

Police checked the area and found nothing unusual.

Alarm set off by fried potatoes

Police were called Jan. 19 to the 200 block of Second Street to investigate a report of an alarm activated.

Police said the alarm was set off by a tenant who was frying potatoes.

Borough fire personnel investigated the situation.

Hot dog triggers alarm

Police responded to an alarm set off Jan. 20 at 10 North Front St.
