Whitehall Township Public Library
The adult winter reading program is off to a good start and there is still time to sign up and join the fun! The program will continue until March 7. It is for patrons 18 years and older and the theme this year will be "Cozy Up With a Good Read!" Patrons can register online from our website or stop by the front circulation desk. When you register, each patron will receive an information sheet, a bookmark and a pen. The participants will be asked to read at least two books and to challenge themselves to read from a "challenge list." For more information, please call the library. The wrap-up party will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday March 10.

The library is continuing to build its state and local history collection. These books are cataloged and kept in the library but can be used by patrons. If you have photos, books or copies of family histories that relate to the Lehigh Valley or Whitehall area that you would like to donate, call library Director Patty Vahey. We have old cookbooks from local churches and organizations, old yearbooks, books on history of businesses, churches, etc. We are looking for old Whitehall High School yearbooks and still need 1919, 1920, 1921 and 1941. If anyone has yearbooks to donate, we will catalog and keep them in the collection.
