Thomas D. Broad, 71, of Whitehall and formerly of Bethlehem, died Jan.15, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Frank W. and Katherine (Schugar) Broad. He was the husband of Evelyn M. (Snyder) Broad for 46 years.
He was a 1961 graduate of Liberty High School.
He was a union electrician for more than 50 years with IBEW Local 367 / 102 and was on the executive board. Most recently, he was foreman at the Northampton County Courthouse.
He was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Fullerton, and was known as the "Fry Guy" at many fund raising events there.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Stacy and her husband Thomas Craig and Kimberly and her husband Bobby Saeger; four grandchildren, Audrey, Margot, Tommy and Zane; a sister, Judithand her husband Richard Frantz, a brother-in-law, Roy G. and his wife Mary Jane Snyder; a sister-in-law, Barbara and her husband Lowell Albright ; and nieces, nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by a sister, Susan Edwards.
