Kim E. Moriarty, 53, from Kempton, died Jan. 13, 2015, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem.

The wife of John J. Moriarty IV, they celebrated their 11th wedding aniversary last September.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Darlene (Lewis) Lloyd.

A secretary and bookkeeper for Kempton Excavating Co. Inc., Kempton, she also worked at Palmer Candy Co., Reading.

She had attended Northwestern Lehigh High School, and was a current member of the Kempton Fire Company.

She was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Colleen, wife of David Hinkel of Ironton, Kristy Bowman, at home; sons John J. Moriarty V. and Daniel J., husband of Dr. Abbie ( Kunkel) Moriarty, all of Kutztown, and Thomas J. Bowman, at home; sister Holly Lloyd of Northampton; brothers, Brian R. and wife Beverly Lloyd of East Dublin, Ga. and Timothy A. and wife Sandra Lloyd of Dublin, Ga.; nine grandchildren; two aunts; an uncle and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests contributions be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
