The School Board of St. Elizabeth Regional School is sponsoring their 11th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Parish Hall, 435 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall. Dinner consists of all-you-can-eat spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, iced tea, lemonade and homemade desserts. Seating times are 4, 5:30 or 7 p.m. You can purchase advance tickets and tickets will also be available a the door.
Reservations are recommended as seating may be limited at the 5:30 and 7 p.m. seatings. Call the school office at 610-264-0143 to purchase advance tickets or for more information.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., Whitehall, is having a Longaberger basket bingo Friday, Jan. 30. The doors open at 6 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m. Presale tickets are available at a discount but will also be available at the door. Price includes 20 games and a door prize ticket. You can reserve a table for eight or more in a party. There will also be special games, a Chinese auction and a chance basket. The kitchen will be open. Fullerton Memorial Playground Association will be holding sign-ups for baseball and softball at the playground on the following dates: Jan. 24, Feb. 7, Feb. 21 and March 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. We will be fielding teams for boys ages 5-15 and girls ages 5-18. The Whitehall Historical Society will have a meeting 7 p.m., Jan. 28 at the Helfrich Springs Grist Mill. The mill is located at Lehnert and Mickley roads in Whitehall. Allen Handwerk will give a PowerPoint presentation on the accomplishments of the year of 2014 and the hopes of 2015. All are welcome and refreshments are served.
