Arizona State

Cary Russell, of Bethlehem, was named to the Arizona State University dean's list for the spring 2014 semester. He earned 12 or more graded semester hours during a semester in residence at ASU with a GPA of 3.50 or higher to be eligible for the honor.

Bryant University

Bethlehem resident Valarie Jeffries, a senior in accounting, was named to the fall semester dean's list at Bryant University, Smithfield, R.I.

Bucknell University

Three Bethlehem residents have been named to the Bucknell University's fall 2014 dean's list for outstanding academic achievement. The students, who earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0, are Gareth Messman, Peter Puleo and Emily Smith.

DeSales University

Several local residents have been named to DeSales University's fall 2014 dean's list. To qualify for the list, a student must have a minimum 3.25 GPA out of a 4.0 scale. The students are Brent A. King's College

Several locals have been named to the King's College fall 2014 deans list. The students are Sissa Alonzo, Melissa Colon, Abigail Cooke, Jamie Deleon, Katherine Fitch, Connor Hughes, Joshua Kepfinger, Sean Krutsick, Jessica Mulligan, Kady Zawadski, all of Bethlehem; and Alexandra Evangelista of Hellertown.

Lebanon Valley

Two Bethlehem residents have been named to the Lebanon Valley College dean's list for the fall 2014 semester. David Corvino, a bachelor of science in business administration major, and Jeannine Riley, a bachelor of music in music recording technology major, maintained a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.
