Vehicle overturns

in North Whitehall

Glenroy C. Moyer Jr., 63, of New Tripoli, was driving a 2013 Audi Q5 west on Rockdale Road, just east of Paradise Road, North Whitehall, attempting a left curve when the SUV lost traction overturned and landed into its roof 1:33 p.m. Jan. 4, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.

The SUV traveled off the north shoulder of the road and struck a tree before overturning and coming to a final rest on its roof, police say.

Moyer, who was wearing his seat belt, was uninjured. He was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

Roseann Moyer, 47, of New Tripoli, a passenger, who police say was wearing her seat belt, sustained a minor injury, police say.

The SUV, which sustained disabling damage to the right side and front passenger tire area, was towed from the scene by Moyer Towing.

According to a police report received Jan. 5, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say electronic equipment was damaged after forced entry was made in the one of the manager's offices 3:09 a.m. Dec. 5 at Dunkin' Donuts, 3626 Route 309, North Whitehall Township.
