Neil J. Dietterich, 45, of Slatedale, died Jan. 4, 2015, in Palmerton Hospital.

He and his wife Christine M. (Smith) Dietterich were married the last five years.

Born Sept. 12, 1969, in Easton, he was the son of the late Clarence O. and Helen I. (Hahn) Dietterich.

He was a truck driver for Inter-Coastal Inc., Bangor, for the last 18 years.

A member of the Heidelberg Game Protective Association, he also was an avid motorcyclist and a member of Harley Owners Group.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by children, Lisa M. of Jim Thorpe, Bryan N. of Texas, Tiffany S. of Coal Township, Nikolas J. of Marshalls Creek; siblings John Dietterich of Roseto, Dennis Dietterich of Easton, Bonnie Bellis-Evans of Arizona; grandson Bryan; stepchildren Jayden N. Peters of Quakertown, Jarett C.S. Loch at home, Taryn K. Loch of New Tripoli; and beloved dog, Toby.

He was predeceased by a brother, Clarence "Buddy" Dietterich.
