Milton J. Altemus, 83, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 10, 2015. He was a son of the late James and Evia Altemus. He was the husband of Anna (Maurer) Altemus for 39 years.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a tractor trailer driver for more than 30 years. He was a bartender and a chauffeur.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a lifetime member of the Roosevelt Democratic Association and the ICC, both of Bethlehem Twp.; and the Monocacy Field and Stream. He was a member of the Bethlehem Twp. Volunteer Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three step children, Edward E. Jr. and his wife Sheila Forstoffer, Ann Marie and her husband Donald Norder and Michael J. Sr. and his wife Linda Forstoffer, all of Bethlehem; eight step grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
