Volunteer firefighters with Whitehall Township Fire Department arrive Jan. 2 for the funeral of Paul S. Schuler of Laurys Station at St. John's United Church of Christ, Laurys Station. Schuler was an active member of the Laurys Station Volunteer Fire Company for 33 years, as a firefighter, safety officer and quartermaster. Last call for Schuler was toned out at 11:42 a.m. Dec. 2.
