Helen L. Geist, 87, formerly of Germansville, died Jan. 9, 2015, in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown.

She was the widow of Clarence G. Geist.

Born in Lehigh County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Held) Gehringer.

A farmer, along with her husband, for most of her life, she was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church, Breinigsville.

Her survivors include a son, Kevin C. and wife, Lori, of Germansville; brother Harold Gehringer and wife, Mildred, of Kutztown; grandchildren Robert III, Randall, Sherry and Jeffrey Brooks, Kevin W. and Kelly Geist, Kerrie Ogden; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Brooks, and a brother Marvin Gehringer.
