The Lower Macungie Library recently announced a few more services for library users.

Library patrons can now use the Book-a-Librarian service to schedule a one-on-one session with one of the librarians.

Librarians can help with downloading eBooks or eAudios, help with a tablet or eReader, and aid with research.

Help with computer topics including computer basics, web searching, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Office 2010), social networking, genealogy, job searching/resume basics, OverDrive and Zinio also is available.

To request an appointment, complete the form on the library website listed under "Services, Book-a-Librarian" or fill out a form at the library and a library staff member will get in touch to arrange an appointment time.

Other new additions are three new databases: Novelist Plus, Brainfuse and the Morning Call Archives.

Novelist Plus allows patrons to explore favorite reads to find similar books by searching titles, authors, genres and in turn the database will give recommendations and reasons based upon a user's interests.

Brainfuse is an educational database featuring lessons, flash cards, tests and live tutoring to assist users with their various learning needs.

The Morning Call Archives provide patrons access to The Morning Call articles from 1984 to the present. All of these databases are accessible from the Lower Macungie Library website under the "Research and Learn" tab.
