There will be a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14. The meeting will be held in the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road.

The last day of the second marking period is Jan. 16. The second semester will start Jan. 20.

School is closed Jan. 19 for a professional development day.

The boys and girls varsity basketball teams play Jan. 17. The boys will play Moravian Academy at home 1:15 p.m. in the new high school gym. The girls are playing Moravian Academy away 1:15 p.m. Come out and support the teams.

Mark your calendars: physicals for the spring athletics season are scheduled Feb. 21. Boys physicals are scheduled 8 a.m. and girls are scheduled 9 a.m. There is a cost.

Spring physical paperwork and recertification paperwork for spring athletes and team managers will be available at Salisbury Middle School and Salisbury High School starting Feb. 2.

To play a spring sport, students must have a physical dated on or after May 31, 2014.
