Wife charged with stabbing husband
State police Dec. 18 responded to a report of an aggravated assault in the 8600 block of Beatrice Lane, East Allen Township.
According to police, Amanda Duffy stabbed her husband Kevin Duffy, both of the 8600 block of Beatrice Lane, with a steak knife and struck him on the head with a solid object.
Police said Kevin Duffy was transported to St. Luke's Hospital where he was treated for several, non-life threatening stab wounds to his upper arm and shoulder area.
Amanda Duffy, police said, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.
She then appeared before District Magistrate John Capobianco where she was arraigned on the charges.
Bail on Amanda Duffy was set at $10,000. She was later released.
Home hit with eggs
Police were called to the 3600 block of Friedens Road, Washington Township, Lehigh County, Dec. 25 to investigate a report of a home struck with eggs.
Police said unknown individuals threw eggs at a residence belonging to Scott Allen Reiner.
The individuals fled the scene, police said.
Man punches
hood of vehicle
A report of a man who punched the hood of a vehicle brought police Dec. 28 to 1785 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
Police said Keith Kauffman of Allentown hit the hood of Allentown resident Stephen Hall's vehicle with a closed fist.
Kauffman was cited with criminal mischief, police said.
