Margaret Pederson, 89, formerly of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 26, 2014, in Luther Crest Health Center, South Whitehall Township.

She was the widow of Frederick E. Pederson.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Eda (Scheltz) Harvey.

She attended Syracuse University and worked for Buffalo's largest advertising agency until marrying.

After the family moved to Allentown in 1965, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She volunteered for many years with Lehigh Valley Meals on Wheels, was a patron of the Allentown Art Museum, and a member of the Allentown Women's Club and Hope United Church of Christ, Salisbury Township.

She enjoyed tennis, and was an avid bridge player and world traveler.

Her survivors include son Mark H. and wife, Jane A., of Fogelsville; grandson Christian; and a niece and nephew.

She was predeceased by a son.

Her memorial service will be announced at a later date.
