Justin D. Shellhammer, 32, of East Allen Township, died July 2, 2015. He was the husband of Tricia D. (Gaspar) for six years.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Leonard A. and his wife Lorraine Shellhammer of Lehighton and Lois J. (Salabsky) and her husband Daniel Kruppa of Saylorsburg.

He was a 2001 graduate of Northampton Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Albright College.

He was in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a tech sergeant in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard 201st Red Horse Squadron, Horsham Air Guard, and was deployed in Afghanistan.

He was a probation officer for Lehigh County.

He was a member of Christ Church UCC, Bath.

He was a former member of the Band of Brothers Club, Northampton Community College. He volunteered with the Crime Victims Council, Allentown.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons, Kyle D. and Joshua R., at home; a brother, Jesse and his wife Stephanie Shellhammer of Lehighton; maternal grandmother, Margaret Salabsky of Saylorsburg; in-laws, George and Patricia Gaspar of Bath; and many other family and friends.

There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m., both July 9 at the church, 109 S. Chestnut St., Bath.
