Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be having its second annual Boar's Head Festival 3 p.m. Jan. 3. Snow date is Jan. 4.
This festival originated in England in the late 1300s and has continued to modern times as a celebration during the Christmas season.
The festival at Ziegels will be complete with a banquet of traditional food, servers, vocal and instrumental English Christmas music and more.

The seniors' book club will meet to discuss "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak, 3-4 p.m. Jan. 13 at Luther Crest, 800 Hausman Road, South Whitehall.
Family movie night will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 14, at the library.
