Police said they advised the resident to turn down the music.
Domestic dispute reported
A report of a domestic dispute brought police to the 1000 block of Oak Street Dec. 27.
Police officers on duty spoke with the involved parties.
One of the individuals agreed to leave the scene, police said.
Police respond
to disturbance
Police responded Dec. 26 to a report of an argument between two individuals in the 200 block of South Second Street.
Police said one of the individuals agreed to leave the premises for the evening.
Theft reported
Police responded Dec. 23 to a report of retail theft at the Giant Food Store, Chestnut and Cherry streets.
Police said store personnel witnessed a man come into the store Dec. 19 and steal meat valued at $126.
According to police, the man is described as heavy set, in his 40s, with short brown hair.
The man fled the scene in a white BMW, police said.
Vehicle trunk opened
A report of a vehicle trunk opened brought officers Dec. 24 to the 900 block of Oak Street.
According to police, there were several boxes and bags in the vehicle.
Police said they secured the hatch.
