Retail theft

Reported in the 6000 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 12:33 p.m. Dec. 20, an unknown actor removed approximately $455.92 of merchandise from Giant Food Stores. The investigation continues.

Reported in the 6000 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 10:41 a.m. Dec. 20, an unnamed black male, 40, of Allentown, removed $155.93 worth of merchandise from Marshalls discount department store.

Attempted burglary

Reported by a resident in the 4700 block of Sydney Close, Lower Macungie Township, 2:43 a.m. Dec. 8, unknown actors used an edged object to force open the front door of a residence. Once the door was open, an alarm sounded and the unknown actors fled without entering the residence.

Criminal mischief

Reported in the 4200 block of South Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a rear window of a vehicle was broken overnight Dec. 17. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported at Weis Supermarket, 3369 Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Dec. 18, an unknown actor scratched the front driver's side door of a parked vehicle, damaging the vehicle's exterior. Anyone with information regarding the incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Access device fraud

A 26-year-old male resident in the 5000 block of Kart Drive, Lower Macungie Township, told police he failed to get his debit card back from a gas station attendent when he used the card at a gas station in Hampton, N.J. Unknown actors made several fraudulent transactions using the debit card at food stores and vending machines through New Jersey and New York. The transactions totaled $80.13 and were made between Dec. 7 and 9. The investigation continues.

DUI

Jeremy Nes Reiferson, 33, no address given, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after he was stopped for a summary traffic violation along Cedar Crest Boulevard at Fish Hatchery Road, Salisbury Township, 1:24 a.m. Dec. 23. Charges were filed through District Court 31-1-08.

Harassment

Jason Malone, 21, and Jordan Malone, 21, both of Emmaus, were cited for harassment after they allegedly confronted a 20-year-old female, grabbing her from the rear and grabbing her wrists, while in the parking lot at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:18 p.m. Dec. 21.

Disorderly conduct

Krysztof Foltynski, 43, of Coaldale and Andrzej Grablis, 40, of Allentown, were charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to a residence in the 3800 block of Fire Brick Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:16 p.m. Dec. 22. Police said the men allegedly were intoxicated when they arrived at the residence and made threats to the homeowner. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
