It is hard to believe Christmas and the 2014 holiday season are now behind us. Hopefully Santa was good to everyone. As I write this, realizing by the time this reaches you it will be New Year's Eve, I reflect on everything this year has brought. It sure has been a busy year but I'm ready to embrace 2015.

Salisbury Township School District schools remain closed and will reopen Jan. 5, 2015. Hope everyone is enjoying the break.

There will be an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 5, 2015, in the administration building.

Harry S Truman Elementary School will hold its first PTO meeting of the new year 7 p.m. Jan. 15, 2015.

For those students at HST, do not forget to wear your T-shirts Jan. 8, 2015. It has been a long break and it is time to get back into the swing of every other week as T-shirt Thursdays.

There will be a curriculum committee meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 26, 2015, at Western Salisbury Elementary School.

The fourth grade at HST invites parents and family to lunch Jan. 12, 2015. Between 12:15 and 12:45 p.m. join your fourth grader for lunch. The event is always a good time!

There is a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14, 2015, in the administration building.
