East Hills MS students presented a Winter Concert Dec. 10 to a sold out audience in the school auditorium featuring the East Hills orchestra, sixth grade chorus, guitar ensemble and seventh and eighth grade choir. Those in attendance enjoyed a variety of seasonal tunes designed to provide holiday spirit and encourage audience participation. The orchestra was directed by Christy Davies, sixth grade chorus and guitar ensemble by Heather Dutt and Keith Quelet, and seventh and eighth grade chorus by Kim Van Orden. Former orchestra director Danny Alonzo took the baton as guest conductor on the selection "Chanukah Celebration." All joined together for the for the finale, "A Family Christmas Spectacular." Pre-concert music was provided by viola, clarinet and trumpet quartets.
