Wayne W. Dietrich

Wayne W. Dietrich, 87, died Dec. 17, 2014, in his Greenwich Township home, surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife Jean F. (Miller) Dietrich celebrated their 60th wedding aniversary in August.

Born in Greenwich Township, he was a son of the late Edward C. and Hattie (Wessner) Dietrich.

A 1945 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, he was a self-employed farmer in Greenwich Township until retiring in 1967.

He later worked as a mechanic for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines of Evansville, retiring from there in 1990.

A member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Krumsville, he was a former member and treasurer of the former Dunkels Church, Greenwich Township.

He was also a member of the Kutztown Fire Company.

He served his country faithfully and honorably with the U.S. Army during World War II.

He enjoyed small game hunting, gardening and working on his tractors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Stephen W. of Bernville and Kerry L. and his companion,, Gary G. Gilbert of East Greenville.; sister Ethel F. George of Len-hartsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by siblings Edward W., Arlan H., James S. and Dorothy H. Adam.

Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the church memorial fund.
