Liberty High School's boys swim team swept all events in their 122-44 victory over Whitehall last week.
Aaron Dolgos, Nolan Vanatta, Reid Rossi, and Brandon Hlavaty led off for the Hurricanes with a victory in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:48.06.
Dolgos, one of Liberty's boys team captains, said, "We put in some of our best people, so we got a pretty good time that day. I'm usually pretty nervous to start off the relay, but as soon as I get in the water, I know I've got to do this for my team."
The 200 free relay was won by Robert Negron, John Buttillo, Hlavaty, and Evan Smith with a time of 1:34.70, and the 400 free relay was won by Jared Messics, Negron, Smith, and Jacob Jones with a time of 3:38.94.
Individual event winners for the Hurricanes were Rossi in the 200 free in 1:59.24, Chase Ledger in the 200 IM in 2:14.24 and the 100 butterfly in 1:01.39, and Buttillo in the 50 free in 24.93.
Negron won the 100 free in 53.25, Alex Fitch placed first in the 500 free in 5:29.42, and in a tight race between Dolgos and David Brown, Brown took first place in the 100 backstroke in 1:04.06 with Dolgos less than a second behind.
Christopher Chambers won the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.29. So far this season, the Hurricanes have dominated in meets but are taking nothing for granted.
"We go into a self-improvement mindset. We see ourselves and our times getting better," said Dolgos. "We push each other and challenge each other."
