Bethel Bible Fellowship hosts annual Christmas dinner

One hundred twenty-six pounds of turkey, 12 gallons of gravy, 16 gallons of green bean casserole, 168 pounds of mashed potatoes, 250 rolls, five gallons of cranberry sauce, 40 pounds of corn, 150 pounds of filling and 80 volunteers were on-hand Dec. 13 for the fourth annual Bethel Bible Fellowship annual community Christmas dinner.

Cindie Feldman, 29 Cooks Catering, coordinated the event for the church and began cooking at 8 a.m. for the 4 p.m. dinner. Approximately 200 people were expected to the fourth annual community dinner.

Pastor of Shepherding Ministries Dave Schlonecker said the dinner was a "service to the community to share the love of Jesus Christ." Co-chair of the event was Patti Schenkel. A women's ensemble led a sing-a-long after dinner.
