Video games stolen at Amazon

Upper Macungie Township police allege Michael Peych, 29, of Vera Cruz Road, Emmaus, took numerous video games 9:41 p.m. Nov. 25 from Amazon, 705 Boulder Drive, Upper Macungie Township.

Amazon loss prevention advised they had conducted an investigation into Peych allegedly taking the video games, police say.

Peych was charged with theft and unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Police say a 19-year-old woman from the 2200 block of Apple Road, Fogelsville, reportedly left her wallet in a basket by the front door of Weis market.

Police say a woman in her 20s, with a medium build wearing a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans and a black and pink knit hat was seen walking in immediately after the other woman left and picked up the basket containing the wallet.

Police say woman was seen by store surveillance walking around the store discarding the wallet and leaving with approximately $50 in cash from inside.
