Welding tools

reported stolen

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say two welding tools valued at approximately $2,075 were stolen sometime between 2 p.m. Nov. 27 and 7 a.m. Dec. 1 from Hoffman Manufacturing, 2010 Sunset Drive, Weisenberg Township.

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call state police at 610-395-1438.

Man found with stolen truck tractor

State Police Troop M Fogelsville allege William J. Thomas, 47, of Allentown, had a stolen Western Express truck tractor valued at $60,000 in the parking lot of the I-78 Stop and Go, 2298 Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township, at 10 a.m. Dec. 14 .

Thomas was taken into custody and charges were filed before the district judge.

Home egged

in Weisenberg Twp

Michelle Cleary, 2237 Apple Road, Weisenberg Township, reported to police three eggs were thrown at the second floor window of her home at 10 p.m. Dec. 6, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say.

Driver stopped

for traffic violation

According to a police report received Dec. 11, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Patrick Stayt of Schnecksville was stopped for an alleged traffic violation 2:17 a.m. Nov. 29 on Route 100 north at Orchard Road, Lowhill Township.

Police say Stayt, who allegedly was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, was transported for a legal blood draw.

Charges were filed with the local district judge.

Bank accounts

opened fraudulently

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 48-year-old woman from Lentz Road, Lynn Township, was told by her bank on Nov. 17 two fraudulent accounts had been opened in her name.

The accounts were closed and a report was filed with the bank, police say.

Neither the woman nor the bank lost any money due to this incident.

Police are continuing their investigation.

Fan stolen

from business

According to a police report received Dec. 2, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say two individuals stole an industrial culinary fan and cover around 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28 from DiFiore's Italian Restaurant, 5608 Route 873, North Whitehall.

Police say the individuals arrived on scene in a brown-colored truck and parked on the east side of Grove Street, at the rear of the business.

They loaded the fan and cover into the bed of the truck and fled north on Grove Street, police say.

Wallet stolen

from basket

Police say a 19-year-old woman from the 2200 block of Apple Road, Fogelsville, reportedly left her wallet in a basket by the front door of Weis market, Route 100, Fogelsville.

Police say a woman in her 20s, with a medium build wearing a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans and a black and pink knit hat was seen walking in immediately after the other woman left and picked up the basket containing the wallet.

Police say the woman was seen by store surveillance walking around the store discarding the wallet and leaving with approximately $50 in cash from inside.
