Daniel D. Fisher, 70, of Schnecksville, died Dec. 15, 2014, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born Oct. 24, 1944, in Frackville, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Francis D. and Eleanor I. (Sneddon) Fisher and stepmother, Mary Fisher.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era.

He worked at Kraft Foods for many years before retiring.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

His survivors include a sister, Eleanor F. Delaney and her husband, John, of Bluffton, S.C.; stepsister, Bernice Goad of Pocono Lake; seven nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19, at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, with the Rev. Guency Isaac as celebrant.

There will be no calling hours.

Private interment will take place at Annunciation B.V.M. Cemetery, Frackville.
