Institutional Advancement vp named
Sharon Schrack Beales became Northampton Community College's new vice president for institutional advancement and executive director of the college's foundation on Dec. 1.
Previous positions included Montgomery Community College, Blue Bell; a foundation vice president at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne; and director of development for 19 colleges and 16 graduate schools at Rutgers University.

Moravian College
Group attends UN climate conference
A group from Moravian College, which includes professors Diane Husic and Hilde Binfordare and college alumnae Sarabeth Brockley and Deanna Metivier, attended the United Nations Framework Conference on Climate Change in Lima, Peru.
The college has sent a delegation of faculty, students, and alumni each year since the annual global conference began in 2009.
Participation in UNFCCC is restricted to parties of the conference, observer states, admitted observer organizations, and accredited press/media. The sessions are not open to the public.
