Criminal mischief

Reported in the 1900 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor used a box cutter to slash the front left tire of a vehicle 3:10 p.m. Dec. 7. The investigation continues.

Retail theft

Abigail Milella Trinidad, 25, and Destiny Maria Colon, 18, both of Allentown, were arrested and issued a non-traffic citation for a summary offense after they allegedly took various items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:40 p.m. Dec. 6. According to police, Trinidad allegedly took various items valued at $117.58 and Colon allegedly took various items valued at $81.28. Police allege the accused did not pay for the items taken and were stopped by loss prevention personnel.

Reported at Walmart, 1190 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:21 p.m. Dec. 10, an unknown actor entered the store, filled a cart with items valued at $156.68, left the store without paying for the items and fled the area in a red Dodge Neon. The investigation continues.

Burglary

Reported at a residence in the 1000 block of Hillview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor forcibly entered the front window of the residence then fled by the back door, leaving the scene in an unknown direction Dec. 5. Nothing appeared to be missing. The investigation continues.

Theft

Reported in the 4600 block of Colebrook Road, Upper Milford Township, an unknown actor took copper wiring from a construction storage site Dec. 8 and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The investigation continues.

Theft from a motor vehicle

Mary A. Hamersly, 30, of Allentown, was charged with receiving stolen property and theft from a vehicle after she allegedly entered a vehicle parked in the 3500 block of Lenape Lane, Upper Milford Township, July 18 and took property valued at $150. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-03.

Resisting arrest

Nelson Rosa-Ortiz, 24, of York, was charged with recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest and drug possession after he allegedly fled police during a traffic stop on Interstate 78, west of mile marker 61.2., Upper Saucon Township, 1:59 p.m. Oct. 29. Rosa-Ortiz was a passenger in a vehicle when a police investigation revealed Rosa-Ortiz allegedly had drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. When police tried to take him into custody Rosa-Ortiz allegedly fled across Interstate 78. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-03.
