James D. Cauthran, 70, of Allentown, died Dec. 6, 2014, in Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Township.

Born in Marysvilles, Calif., he was a son of the late James Jenkins and Mary Hatten.

He was a construction worker in the Lehigh Valley for many years.

His survivors include daughters Donna M., wife of Troy Huntley, of Hodges, S.C., Theresa Nolan of Hershey, sons Michael J. of Gastonia, N.C., Daniel J. of Chesnee, S.C.; and nine grandchildren.

His service will be private.
