Hans Tiesler, 84, of Coplay, died Dec. 5, 2014, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.

He was the widower of Joyce G. (Marcks) Tiesler.

Born in Pike County, he was a son of the late Hans and Bettina (Hovey) Tiesler.

He was the lead mechanic at Durkee Spices, Bethlehem, for several years until he retired.

Previously, he was a line mechanic for Cutler Hammer, Bethlehem, and a fuel truck driver for Agway-Farm Bureau, Chapmans.

His survivors include daughters, Diane, wife of Terry Mariani of Schnecksville, and Karen Tiesler of York; grandchildren Michael Mariani, Dante and Kyrie Boemio; and great-granddaughter, Madison Mariani.

He was predeceased by three brothers.
