Emma S. "Oma" Schwab, 91, of Whitehall, died Dec. 2, 2014.
Born in Czechoslovakia, she came to the United States in 1956.
The daughter of the late Jakob and Katherine (Tinz) Roth, she was married to Josef Schwab until his death in 1982.
She was a seamstress at the former Phoenix Clothes and later at Greif Industries.
Upon retirement, she continued to use her craft as a seamstress and was employed by both Rose Bower and Clifford Hummer Custom Draperies.
She was a wonderful cook and baker, especially during the holidays.
She was an avid supporter of the Harugari Kickers soccer team.
Her survivors include sons Ervin Roth and wife Gae (Crespi) of Orefield, and Erich Svitana and wife Sandra (Baragone) of Whitehall; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by grandson David Svitana and sister Katherine Meltzer.
