Dorothy M. Williams, 77, of Middleburg, Fla., formerly of Schnecksville, died Nov. 23, 2014, in Orange Park, Fla.

Born June 16, 1937, in Shamokin, Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Dorothy G. (Snyder) James.

A 1971 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, she was a licensed practical nurse at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital and for several other physicians in private practice for 28 years before retiring.

She also was a self-employed licensed cosmetologist for 35 years.

Her survivors include a daughter Gwen Hillman of Middleburg; son David J. Williams and his wife, Donna, of Schnecksville; sisters Jacqueline A. Delbaugh of Berkley Springs, W.Va. and Holly James of Mechanicsville, Va.; grandsons John Olier, David J. Jr. and Derek J. Williams; and great-grandchildren Matthew, Casey, Mariah, Jason and Sarah.

His service will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
