Althea May Christman, 83, of Bethlehem, and formerly of Northampton and Lehigh Township, died Dec. 2, 2014, at ManorCare Health Services II, Bethlehem Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late James and Sadie (Solt) Christman. She was the wife of the late Kermit Christman.

She was a licensed practical nurse for more than 50 years, last having worked for ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem, until she retired in 2006.

She was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C. Church, Cherryville.

She was a charter member of the Lehigh Township Athletic Association.

She is survived by a daughter, Jacquelyn and her husband RIchard Daniel of Whitehall; a son, Keith "Skip" D. and his wife Robert of Roundup, Mont.; six grandchildren, Rodney and his wife Tina Christman, Kimberly and her husband Robert Ardle, David and his wife Sherri Penchishen, Eric and his wife Cindy Penchishen, Chad Christman and Amy Daniel; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

She was predeceased by a son, Kermit "Bub" C.J. Christman.
