Don't have a cow: You can have one now, if you buy a cow, or at least a painting of a cow, that is, or maybe a painting of a larger than life rooster, at an auction of the exhibited work in "Greg Weaver: Urban American Folk Artist," 6 p.m. Dec. 12, Ronald K. De Long Gallery, Penn State Lehigh Valley, Center Valley. The exhibition spanning 20 years of a diverse body of work from the late Allentown artist was organized by Rook Jones, above left, who collects Weaver's works, and Ann Lalik, above right, De Long Gallery Director and Arts Coordinator, Penn State Lehigh Valley. A colonial Christmas in Bath: The Governor Wolf Historical Society presents a candlelight holiday concert, featuring Robert Mouland's "Voice Of The Winter Wind," 7:30 p.m. Dec 12, Wolf Academy, 6600 Jacksonville Road, Bath. Mouland, above, is expected to play colonial songs and compositions on colonial-era instruments, such as the baroque flute (c.1790), baroque violin (c.1760) and English guitar (c.1760). The concert, intended to be entertaining and educational, addresses how the holidays were celebrated (or not celebrated) in early America. Refreshments will be served. Ticket information: govwolf.org
