David J. Heil, 47, of Northampton, died on Nov. 25, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born March 5, 1967, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Morell E. and Leona R. (Hoffman) Heil.

He was a packer at Rodale Press, Emmaus, for 14 years last working in 2002.

He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

His survivors include a sister Donna J. Heil, with whom he resided.
