bogus IRS calls
Police say they have received several calls from residents saying they were called from someone who identified himself as an Internal Revenue Service agent.
The person tells the resident he owes money and if payment is not made, he will be arrested.
This is a scam, the IRS does not make telephone calls and demand payment.
Police warn residents not to give the caller money or information.
