Francis P. O'Donnell, 86, of Alburtis, died Nov. 19, 2014 at Cedarbrook, South Whitehall.
He and his wife Barbara A. (Miller) O'Donnell were married 57 years.
Born April 6, 1928, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Urban and Marcella (McFadden) O'Donnell. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era post World War II.
He was employed in plant security at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 33 years before retiring in 1984.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons, The Rev. Msgr. Michael P. of Arlington, Va., David J. and his wife, Samantha, of Bear, Del.; daughter Rosanne M. Lauchnor and her husband, Jaison, of Allentown; siblings The Rev. William J. O'Donnell of Bethlehem, Sister St. Urban of Philadelphia, Kathleen O'Donnell and Theresa Donchez, both of Bethlehem; and grandchildren Morgan and Brooke Lauchnor, and Kyle and Corey O'Donnell.
He was predeceased by seven brothers and four sisters.
