Police responded to a multivehicle crash Nov. 19 in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.

According to police, Amy Schmoyer of Whitehall was driving west across the Coplay-Northampton Bridge when she collided with four parked cars.

Police said the crash is under investigation.

Police respond to hang-up

A hang-up call brought Coplay police to Giant Food Store Nov. 22.

The call was made from a pay phone, police said.

No one was found near the phone, nor was anyone in need of police services.

Fire alarm

A reported fire alarm Nov. 21 brought police to apartments at 10 N. Front St.

On arrival police found no fire.

The alarm was apparently set off by the tenant making toast, police said.

The fire department also responded to the call.
