Francis P. O'Donnell, 86, of Alburtis, died Nov. 19, 2014, at Cedarbrook, Allentown. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Miller) O'Donnell to whom he was married 57 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Urban and Marcella (McFadden) O'Donnell.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era post World War II.
He was employed in plant security at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 33 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church,Orefield.
He is survived by his wife; sons, The Rev. Msgr. Michael P., of Arlington, Va., David J. and his wife, Samantha, of Bear, Del.; daughter, Rosanne M. and her husband Jaison Lauchnor, of Allentown; siblings, The Rev. William J., of Bethlehem, Sister St. Urban, of Philadelphia, Kathleen and Theresa Donchez, both of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Morgan and Brooke Lauchnor, Kyle and Corey. He was predeceased by seven brothers and four sisters.
