Mary V. Hanssen, 94, formerly of Salisbury Township, died November 13, 2014, at Saucon Valley Manor. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Voytko.

She was the wife of the late Edward T. Hanssen.

She worked at Western Electric/Lucent Technologies for a number of years until retiring.

She was a former member of the Fearless Fire Company, the Cotillion Dance Club and the U.S. Amateur Ball Room Club.

She is survived by a son, Edward and his wife Betty; a granddaughter, Susan and her husband Mike Young, all of Salisbury Township.; a grandson, Mike and his wife Jennifer Hanssen of Allentown; three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Morgan and Austin; and a sister, Anne Applegate of Bethlehem.
