A Moore Township man was killed in an early morning crash Wednesday on MacArthur Road, Whitehall.
According to a news release from the Lehigh County Coroner's office, Victor Banks, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:40 a.m. Nov. 19, by Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl.
The cause of death is attributed to multiple blunt force injuries and was ruled an accident, the coroner's statement says.
The crash took place at approximately 4:05 a.m. at the intersection of MacArthur Road and Chestnut Street. Banks was the operator of a motor vehicle that collided with a triaxle dump truck, according to the coroner's office.
MacArthur Road southbound was closed at Route 329 as of 8:45 a.m. Wednesday. Traffic was being detoured through Egypt.
The Lehigh County Coroner's office and the Whitehall Township Police Department are investigating the crash, the coroner's statement says.
