The ninth annual "Screendance Festival" is at 8 p.m. Nov. 22, 23, Commonwealth Room, University Center, DeSales University, Center Valley.

The DeSales' Division of Performing Arts will screen international dance films and feature DeSales Dance and TV-Film Department students collaborating on the "48-Hour Screendance Challenge."

Films created by Jamey Hampton and Ashley Rolland, artistic directors of the Portland, Ore.,-based dance company, BodyVox, will be shown Nov. 22.

Jamey Hampton is expected to attend the screening and discuss the making of dance-on-camera films at the conclusion of the program.

The Nov. 23 program will feature films created in the "48-Hour Screendance Challenge." Hampton is festival adjudicator.

The "Screendance Festival" is a free, non-ticketed event. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
