Barbara M. Wright, 81, of Macungie, died Nov. 15, 2014, in Lehigh Center. Born in Syracuse, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Leora M. (Van Brocklin) Wright.

She was an elementary school teacher for the Easton Area School District from 1963 until her retirement in 1991. Previously, she taught in the North Coventry School District for four years.

She was the past president of the Emmaus Chapter V of the Philanthropic Educational Organization.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church, Allentown.

She is survived by a sister, Marilyn L., of Balwinsville, N.Y.; cousins, Chris Van Brocklin and his wife Shelli, of Ellicott, Md., Bruce Van Brocklin, of Seattle, Wash., Walter Mitchell, of Oriskany, N.Y. and Gene and his wife Roberta, of Naples, Fla.
