LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Whitehall Township Public Library column

The Whitehall Township Public Library will have a huge fall book sale Thursday, Nov. 20, through Saturday, Nov. 22, in the community room.

Hundreds of gently read books will be available in our community room at low prices. We will also have a holiday theme table set up with books, holiday items and ornaments, along with a table with specially priced new items.

There will be a bag sale Nov. 22.

Money raised at the book sale will be used for programming in 2015 to celebrate the library's 50th anniversary.

Join us for our monthly book discussion in December. We offer the book talk twice during the month, the first Tuesday at 1 p.m. Dec. 2 and the first Thursday at 6 p.m. Dec. 4.

The book for December will be "Atonement" by Ian McEwan.

Each discussion covers the whole book, so you do not need to come to both, though you are certainly welcome to do so. Just pick whichever time is more convenient for you.
