Pickup hits boulder
in Lynn Township
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Richard W. Mairose, 63, of New Ringgold, was driving a 2005 Ford Ranger northbound on Route 309, just north of Mosserville Road, Lynn Township when it struck a boulder .
Police say Mairose apparently lost consciousness around 3:37 p.m. on Oct. 29 causing the truck to travel to the right and from the right lane of Route 309 onto the eastern embankment, police say.
As the truck was traveling up the embankment, the front bumper struck the boulder at the top, causing the truck to travel in a clockwise direction with its front bumper facing north and its rear bumper facing south.
The truck then rolled down the embankment, rolling over once before coming to a final rest on its four wheels, with its rear bumper facing north in the right lane of Route 309, and its front bumper facing south on the eastern berm.
Mairose, who police say was wearing his seat belt, was transported by Northwestern Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was charged with a traffic violation, police say.
Truck, tractor hit
with paintball
Wang Moreno of New Tripoli reported to State Police Troop M Fogelsville his truck and tractor were shot with a paintball sometime between 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 while parked at Routes 309 and 143, Lynn Township.

Man tries to enter wrong home
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Ethan Keichel allegedly mistook a neighbor's home for his own 3:45 a.m. Nov. 9 and attempted to enter the front door of the home in the 7100 block of Flint Hill Drive, Lynn Township.
Police allege Keichel was intoxicated at the time of this incident, which was promptly reported by his neighbor.
