LVCHSA: Commended Merit Student

Celia Freed, a Charter Arts senior theatre major, of Lower Saucon Township, 18, has been named a Commended Student in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program.

A Letter of Commendation from the school, and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented by the school principal Sharon Fehlinger-Ricker.

Fountain Hill: Celebrating #Socktober

Fountain Hill ES is now participating in #Socktober, a sock drive. For the next month, students will collect NEW socks and donate them to The Bethlehem Emergency Homeless Shelter. If you would like to donate socks, please send them to Fountain Hill ES.

Notre Dame HS: Speech-Debate honorees

Two students won awards recently at the Phillipsburg High School Fall Classic. Jane Karam took fourth place and Greg Bianchi took fifth place in Declamation.Also representing Notre Dame were Shannon Rutan and Stephanie Salmento in Public Forum Debate.
