Helen W. Moore
Helen W. Moore, 87, of Allentown, died Oct. 31, 2014, in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township.
She was the wife of Maurice E. "Moe" Moore.
Together, with their family, the couple celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in October.
Born Dec. 30, 1926, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Adamczak) Winarsky.
A member of the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown, she was a 1944 graduate of Allentown High School.
She worked for various companies including the Americus Hotel, St. Regis and the Morning Call and volunteered at the voting polls and the Children's and Adult Arthritis Clinic.
Her greatest joy was her family and she loved keeping in touch with her friends. She was a kind and loving person.
Despite her condition, she always remained strong and positive. She was a true inspiration and will be lovingly missed.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Diana Moore and James Schlegel of Allentown; son Kevin Moore of Allentown; grandsons Kelsey Moore and wife, Kellie, of Woodbridge, Va., and Spencer Moore of Allentown; granddaughter, Shaylyn Moore of Allentown; sister, Jacqueline Gates of Allentown; sister-in-law Dorothy Winarsky of Quakertown; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother John Winarsky; sisters Mary Columbo, Rose Lipko, Anna Hamm, Catherine Hrivnak; and nieces Loretta Lipko and Mary Ann Riemer.
