Driver arrested

for DUI

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 43-year-old Breingsville woman was stopped 6:48 p.m. on Oct. 26 for several alleged traffic violations on Route 222 South at Grim Road, Upper Macungie Township.

She was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing.

Shot fired

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a man driving a silver four-door Nissan Frontier or Titan pickup with a loud exhaust fired a single shot from his moving vehicle, hitting a tractor trailer at 10:41 p.m. Oct. 21 at the I-78 East ramp from Route 100, Upper Macungie Township.

The pickup, with a white registration plate having black lettering and a military style emblem near the plate, fled east on Route 22.

The driver was wearing a green, military-type shirt or jacket, police say.
